Dedication to ongoing learning

Affiliate Account Manager, BeNeLux

Webgains, one of the world’s fastest-growing, International affiliate platforms is looking for a Dutch-speaking account manager to join our team in Central London. The Webgains platform has been established in the BeNeLux region for over four years. External circumstances have necessitated a re-think of existing structures and Webgains would like to provide support to the business by appointing a London-based experienced online account manager to help drive performance of our merchants programs and manage relationships with our Dutch affiliates.

The ideal candidate will have some affiliate marketing experience, and will have worked either for a competitor network, or a merchant. Alternatively, you will be experienced in other aspects of the online marketing business, such as lead generation, search marketing or media planning. You will be dedicated to providing exemplary customer service to our network of merchants and affiliates. You must be able to take on personal responsibility, as well as fitting into a relaxed team environment. Your main role will be supporting clients’ marketing plans, including strategic and tactical planning, issue identification and problem resolution.

This is a permanent position and a critical part of the International Team in our London office, based near Chancery Lane in Central London. There will be some scope for travel, as well as a potential for career advancement in the London and Amsterdam offices.

The role will report to the Managing Director.

Responsibilities

  • Build the financial strength of the Webgains BeNeLux business by building and improving the performance of affiliate programs on the platform
  • Liaise with other members of the Webgains BeNeLux team to ensure we deliver an effective and efficient service
  • Take responsibility for the performance of individual programs on the Webgains BeNeLux platform, as well as the performance of the platform overall
  • Consult with Merchants as to the tactical and strategic aims of their off-line and on-line marketing programs, and execute where appropriate
  • Recruit suitable affiliates to the Webgains BeNeLux network
  • Introduce affiliates to suitable merchant programs
  • Continuously strive to improve the financial and strategic success of the affiliate marketing program of each of the Company’s merchants by:
    • Ensure timely setup & integration of new clients
    • Auditing the client’s website
    • Monitoring the Merchant’s website
    • Recommending changes to the website and other commercial aspects
    • Recruiting suitable affiliates
  • Helping to market the merchant’s affiliate program by writing text, devising linking methods etc
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and communicate with Merchants
  • Provide input and ideas into product development process and product lifecycle management
  • Provide assistance to Sales team to help win new significant advertisers
  • Embrace company values of openness, excellence and integrity

Skills, Tools and Attributes

  • You must have demonstrably excellent oral, analytic and written skills in both Dutch and English
  • Qualifications: Education to degree level with experience in web-based technologies, marketing and management
  • Computer Skills: Excellent skills required in all Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Conversant with HTML and other web languages.
  • A good sense of humour
  • An ability to take personal responsibility for delivery of workload, as well as contributing to a relaxed team environment

Webgains is an ‘open’ network, with Merchants and Affiliates having complete control over their programmes online. In addition to real-time and scheduled reporting on all aspects of the performance of their programmes, Merchants are able set up multiple accounts, multiple commission structures, segmented affiliated groups and benefit from sophisticated fraud prevention. Affiliates can set up all of their sites under the one account, have access to advanced data feeds of product information, and are paid weekly to address potential cash flow issues.
